The Department of Public Expenditure and Reform has issued a letter to HR Managers and Personnel Officers on the application of pension increase policy to qualifying pensions arising from restoration of fixed allowances for serving public servants on 1 October 2020.
If public service pension recipients have any queries about the application of the policy to their own situation, they should direct the queries to their pension-paying authority (ref para 12 of the letter).
