ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS
PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE RCPSA, SCHEDULED TO TAKE PLACE ON 21 MAY 2020, HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
Notwithstanding the provisions of Rule 8(e), that the AGM shall be held before 31st May in each year, in the light of the extraordinary national circumstances currently prevailing, the Officers of the Council, in consultation with the Trustees and the Standing Orders Committee, have decided that it is in the best interests of members to cancel the arrangements for 21 May 2020 and to reschedule the AGM at a future date to be announced in due course.
In these exceptional circumstances, the current Council, Trustees and Standing Orders Committee will remain in place in an acting capacity after 21 May 2020, until the Association can hold an AGM. As soon as the restrictions imposed by the current emergency are lifted, the Council will organise an AGM as soon as is practicable.
