FOR ATTENTION OF EIRCOM PENSIONERS – RESULT OF BALLOT ON TRUSTEE ARRANGEMENTS
The preliminary polls conducted by Lane Clark and Peacock Ireland Ltd of members of the Eircom Superannuation Main Scheme and the Eircom No2 Scheme regarding the appointment of Trustees of each scheme have concluded.
Over 6,000 votes were submitted, which is over 50% of the total number of pensioners.
The result of the poll across both funds was :
Standard Arrangement 71%
Alternative Arrangement 29%
The standard arrangement provides for 4 member Trustees (active or retired) to be elected by all members (active and retired). In the case of the No. 2 Fund, it provides for 3 member Trustees (active or retired) to be elected by all members (active and retired).
