The Communications Workers’ Union (CWU) staged a protest outside Leinster House on Tuesday 10 February 2026 over delays in the payment of pension increases for retired workers at An Post and eir.
The union has criticised what it described as an unnecessary delay by the Minister for Communications Patrick O’Donovan in approving the agreed increases, which they say have already been agreed by unions, trustees, actuaries and company boards.
The RCPSA fully supports all its members and colleagues from An Post and eir in securing the pension increases due.
