The Irish Gerontological Society hosted a public lecture webinar entitled Getting Ireland’s Adults COVID-Vaccination Ready, on the afternoon of Wednesday 17th February 2021. The speakers included Prof Luke O’Neill and the event was co-chaired by Ms Olivia O’Leary, Journalist and IGS past-president Dr Diarmuid O’Shea. Registration was required (but free). Over 5,000 people registered and “attended” and the event was oversubscribed. Due to the high level of interest, the Society has posted a recording of the event on its website.
