As advised, the RCPSA AGM 2020 (initially postponed in March 2020) was cancelled by Council in September 2020 (See Page 3 of RCPSA Newsletter Autumn 2020).
Council also agreed that all Motions submitted for the AGM would fall.
As announced in the Newsletter January 2021, AGM 2021 has been provisionally arranged for Thursday 27th May 2021 in the Ashling Hotel, Parkgate St., Dublin 8 at 2.00 pm.
(NOTE: These arrangements may be subject to change, depending on Government Guidelines in respect of Covid-19.)
All members are invited to attend the AGM.
Branches and/or Members are invited to submit Nominations for
- the Offices of President, Vice President, Honorary Secretary, Honorary Treasurer [In accordance with Rule 7b, the Council shall be assisted by an Executive Assistant/Secretary whose duties will be as prescribed by the Council. It is not an elected position.]
- membership of the Council
- membership of the Standing Orders Committee and
- positions as Trustees.
Elections will take place at the AGM.
This invitation extends to resubmitting Nominations submitted for the 2020 AGM. All Nominations should be submitted in writing to the Honorary Secretary – see postal address and email address below. The deadline for receipt of Nominations by the Honorary Secretary is 1st April 2021.

All Motions should be submitted in writing to the Honorary Secretary. The deadline for receipt of proposed Motions by the Honorary Secretary is 1st April 2021.
Branches and/or Members are invited to propose Rule changes to form part of the Agenda of the AGM. This invitation extends to resubmitting proposed Rule changes submitted for the 2020 AGM. Proposed Rule changes should be submitted in writing to the Honorary Secretary. The deadline for receipt of proposed Rule changes by the Honorary Secretary is 1st March 2021.
